When India was struggling with a second wave of the pandemic , more than 3,00,000 daily new cases were being reported, West Bengal was having a hard hit by nearly 20,000 new cases every day and hospitals in several states were experiencing a huge shortage of medical oxygen and beds then We at CareTechR planned to start a platform to provide free of cost Covid Teleconsultation and Home Isolation Consultation with a team of highly experienced and professional doctors, nurses, physiotherapist, nutritionists, clinical psychologists at one hand and a team of sincere and happy to help volunteers on the other.
People simply have to message a ‘Hi’ and then our volunteers stepped in with all possible help to plug in to the system and connect to the doctors. They helped to make patient experience in teleconsultation seamless and provided the prescription /advice given by the doctor. Our services don’t stop there, we wanted to provide full support to our patient and thus if a patient was recommended to be in home isolation, we extened our support also to provide an uneventful and safe home quarantine period by consultation in the form of Diet counselling, Physiotherapy, or Psychological counselling.
